Laís Laísy was not able to capture the moment that the dog was freed because she had to report to work. However, like a good journalist, she followed up with the vet who had helped the firemen free the dog.
The video below is an interview with the vet, in which he explains how the dog was freed.
The following video was shot by Laís Laíny, from Cascavel, Paraná, Brazil. Laís is a journalist in Casacavel, and was going to work when the large presence of firemen attempting to save the dog grabbed her attention. The result is this video.
The first part of the following video was shot by Thiago Benedito, of Luiz Antônio, São Paulo, Brazil. It was a chance shot with his cellphone camera.
A backhoe operator was dredging a canal to clean it. He put the bucket into the water, and lo and behold when he lifted it out of the water there was this gigantic, monster anaconda! Its body touched the ground on both sides even when the bucket was raised to its full height.
The second part of the video shows a picture that is said to have been circulating in Brazil since the 1960s. The anaconda was reportedly measured at over 12 meters (over 3 meters longer than the accepted world record for the length of a snake.)
An interesting thing about the second snake is the general geographical location that it was killed in.
It was killed in Mato Grosso, the same general geographical location that Colonel Percy Fawcett, a British soldier, claimed, in 1907, to have killed an anaconda of 62 feet (about 18 meters) in length. Colonel Percy Fawcett remains ridiculed to this day.

Brazilian And Chilean Women Fight During World Cup Game Between Brazil And Chile
Emotions always run high during the World Cup. And even though both Brazil and Chile are South American nations, representing the same continent, it did not prevent emotions running high between the World Cup game between both countries. A Chilean woman did not take kindly to a Brazilian woman cheering after Brazil scored a goal against Chile. Well, let's just say that mayhem ensued.....

It's difficult to imagine that crustaceans can show emotion and respond to human touch with affection. Yet that is exactly what someone has managed to do in Brazil, in the coastal city of Bartioga, in the State of São Paulo.
More interesting, rather than being born into a human home, Johnny the pet crab was actually caught in the wild. Fernando, the pet owner, says that right after it was caught, it would try to pinch.
But after continually putting food at the crabs claws, touching it, and lifting it, it became tame to the point that it will relax and 'sleep' when he touchs it.
Bernado Souza, from Brazil, had some fun with his dog. He placed a large mirror in front of his dog. The dog probably thought that there is another dog behind the mirror, and growled away! Bernado describes his dog as somewhat a little crazy.
When Even Pets Want To Play Football, Selecting The National Football Team In Brazil Will Never Ever Be Easy
Given the high number of extremely talented football players from Brazil, choosing the national football team will never be an easy task for any coach.
National coaches in Brazil are always at loggerheads with the press, because on any given day there are probably fourty players who can aptly play a single position. Each individual has an idea of a team that will win the World Cup.
Brazilian football is somewhat different from football in the rest of the world. It's more a way of recreation and a pass time, a way of life, rather than being a tactical team game.
Ball handling skills that are entertaining to watch-ball juggling, clean fancy dribbles, etc - play a major role in football as a pass time in Brazil. This style of football is commonly referred to as "the beautiful game".
This could of course explain the high levels of success that Brazilian national football teams have enjoyed in World Cup campaigns. A football coach is at liberty to select from a variety of tactics, because virtually all the team members grew up practicing extreme ball handling skills as a form of self-entertainment rather than taking a must-do-to-win approach.
It's often said that the Brazilian National Football Team is the World's favourite football team. Obviously watching beautiful ball handling skills is not restricted to Brazilians.
What, however, is even more amazing is that the beauty of watching Brazilian football does not seem to be unique to humans. Pets in Brazil have been known to want to play football with their owners.
Take for example Fred the chicken. Fred would always chase the football when the ball went out of bounds when his owner was having a game with friends. It would try to peck the ball to make it move. Fred's owner took notice. He noticed that the football was too heavy for Fred the chicken to move. So he bought a much lighter ball and a small net. Believe it or not, Fred the chicken knows how to "shoot" and aim for goal and score!
Then take Mona, a Border Collie female dog. Not only does Mona join her owners in playing football, Mona knows how to header a football!
Someone once commented that perhaps its something in the water in Brazil that makes both humans and animals alike such skillful football players.
When even pets Want to play football in Brazil, selecting the National Football Team In Brazil Will never ever be easy for any coach.
We wish all Brazilian National Football Teams success in their efforts to preserve the beautiful game and win as many World Cups as possible whilst doing so.
Enjoy the videos below of Fred the chicken that plays football and Mona headering a football.
Dog Attacks Police Car - Another Dog Attacks Snake
There's a very popular video on YouTube about a dog that attacks a police car in the USA. One can only imagine that it is with such fearless courage of the unknown that dogs in Brazil have become famous for saving their owners from giant snakes such as anacondas. Dogs are truly man's best friend. Here are the two videos - the first of the dog that attacks a police car, and the second of a dog that jumped onto an anaconda to save a child that the anaconda was trying to kill. It ended up taking the child's place-the anaconda attacked it. The child called for help, and the video is the rescue of the dog that risked its life to save the child.
This video was shot by Fabiano Salek, who lives in the suburb of Laranjeiras, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was taking a walk through the neighborhood when he came across a family playing with their dog-the dog was headering the soccer ball!
