Johnny The Pet Crab

Johnny The Pet Crab

It's difficult to imagine that crustaceans can show emotion and respond to human touch with affection. Yet that is exactly what someone has managed to do in Brazil, in the coastal city of Bartioga, in the State of São Paulo.

More interesting, rather than being born into a human home, Johnny the pet crab was actually caught in the wild. Fernando, the pet owner, says that right after it was caught, it would try to pinch.
But after continually putting food at the crabs claws, touching it, and lifting it, it became tame to the point that it will relax and 'sleep' when he touchs it.

Enjoy the video.
